RC300h Aux Input (2018)

Hi All, first post from a potential new owner.

Looking at replacing my 2017 Civic with a (probably) 2018 RC300h F Sport.

The ones I am looking at all have the upgraded "Widescreen" infotainment screen in them (MM17 I believe?) without inbuilt CarPlay. I understand CarPlay wasn't available until 2020ish?

This is not a major issue as I am planning on adding an aftermarket CarPlay screen (separately as I really do not want to mess with the factory install for various reasons).

My plan is to add a standalone CarPlay unit & simply connect it to the AUX 3.5mm audio jack/12v Socket and run the Audio in via the 3.5mm socket.

Question is simple really, do all RC300h`s have a conventional 3.5mm Audio jack in the centre armrest? From photos I have seen they all seem to have one

Hi, I’d suggest looking at the link below.  
 

I fitted mine without issue and it’s been brilliant.  Same stereo as you with the larger screen too.
