Hi can anyone help me? I have a 2023 UX sport, how do you permanently get lane assist turned off? My Lexus dealer said it’s on permanent due to an EU safety rule.

Having booked my new ux 250 in for a ceramic paint treatment, my insurance company NFU have increased my premiums, I did contact Lexus insurance they do not cover the treatment so if I unfortunately had a crash they would not pay out for the new ceramic treatment! Anyone else come across this?

Even if you declare a modification, the modification itself is rarely covered. Not that a ceramic coating is a declarable modification.

Your dealer is correct, you cannot disable lane assist - by law it has to reenable itself on every startup.

Hi.

Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you wish.
