Hiya - have a RX450h 2011 with the original Panasonic D23 Battery, but I have had to jump start the car twice now, even after charging the Battery up, it has done a long stint so can't complain.

I read all the Wet, AGM and special Battery threads and honestly I don't want to shell out one £200 for a Battery.

From euro car parts and some other using the number plate matching it gave some options, obviously not per manufacturer guidance but from this I am thinking of going for the Bosch S4 024 - https://amzn.eu/d/j6PH2Fm

Can anyone confirm that this will fit?

Not a subject I know much about but this article says that the vehicle needs to detect a certain resistance from the 12v Battery to allow it to charge correctly .

Also have a read of this thread on here……

I understand you have an older car and don't want to spend a fortune on it, but I think £200 for peace of mind the car will start reliably is a sound investment versus the hassle of buying something not suitable which you then may not be able to return.
