Recall phone call NX2020 Tracker

Hi All,
Anyone else had a call today regarding a safety recall to have a tracker fitted?
As part of the phone call I was asked if I use the Lexus app, to which I replied "no, as it's crap" and it really is for a gen-1 model.
Then the polite lady from Guilford mentioned it may reduce my car insurance, etc. 

I've booked the car in, but was wondering does it actually need doing?

Lexus are fitting tracker free to some of their vehicles. Mine is being done on Friday. No it does not need doing but it is an extra bit of theft cover. Its free of charge and comes with 3 yrs tracker subscription
