I had my IS300h serviced on Friday at T/Wells Lexus.

Absolutely excellent service from them from the moment I dropped it off to the moment I collected it.

They sat me down & explained everything in detail that had been done on the 40,000mile/4 years service although it had only done just over 11,000 miles. Other service centres I have been to just wanted me out of the way ASAP & I always had to take the service book back into them for it to be stamped, not here though it was all done. (As it should be).

Coffee & biscuits were free flowing & everyone there was happy & chatty, very pleasant.

I will definitely be going back there for my next service.

i guess the question is did you walk away with a new air freshner & a tub of sweets? If not my local dealer Stockport takes the win :thumbup1:

Almost as good, a packet of humbugs & a bottle of water left in the car.😀

We may laugh, but to have a brand that still tries to make it look like they care is a massive thing!

I like how the Lexus technician shoots a small video explaining bits of the service from under the car so you can watch on your phone... I have a friend with a Porsche and they do that there too.

There are plenty of so-called premium car brands out there who treat you like a nuisance: for a service, to buy a new car... They're just too snooty and too busy to be nice to you and they make sure you get it.
Some are hit or miss at best: Honda Gravesend was like that, while the people at Honda Ashford were super nice.

In some places you get the other extreme: they overwhelm you trying to cross-sell all kinds of garbage like warranties, coatings etc while having no idea about the car they're selling (this happens mostly at those 2nd hand "car supermarkets").

I have found a visit for a service at our Lexus dealer is generally a pleasant event, unlike visits to Ford dealers and the like. They are very nice, friendly, fair and a pleasure to deal with.  I just have one minor issue that irritates me a bit - Putting amber advisory notes saying how awfully worn your tyres are. What! they still have 4.5 / 4.6 mm tread left and no other issues. To me that's a good tyre, to them it's a case of Oooh Missus you might get a puncture and keep your eyes on these dodgy tyres. Get a grip!!

FYI legal limit/MOT fail is 1.6mm  NOT 4.6mm
