Had an issue with lights not dimming on dashboard when lights on, called at Lexus dealership, technician sorted it out.

Friend has a BMW, red light has come on dashboard, handbook says do not drive until checked by dealer, dealer cannot book vehicle in until 3rd December!

All it requires is a ‘plug in tester’ to find out how serious issue is, but that doesn’t concern them!

I would try a different dealer or a BMW independent?
