Underwhelmed by external colour choices

Recommended Posts

I am considering purchasing an RZ. Is anyone else underwhelmed by the limited choice of colours available?

Why are there so many slight variations of the same colours (grey and silver)? Why are there no red, green, dark blue or other choices available?  This is almost as bad as the options available on the Volvo EX30!

Does anyone know if Lexus will be introducing a wider colour palette in the near future?

No one but Lexus could know that but I feel they choose the colours they believe show the car at it's best.

I don’t have blue fake leather - it is the eco friendly ultrasuade! Was initially underwhelmed by it compared to the real leather in my Range Rover, but after 18 months of supporting a 18 stone 6’ 2” lump it looks brand new so may be more durable than real or fake leather.

Fake leather reminds me of the Mercedes case where about 3 years ago someone took them to court, and won, over miss-selling his E Class as having leather seats. Mercedes had to admit that the sides and some other bits were not leather but they said it was for durability. They changed all their marketing material.

Yes I agree. Not a great selection.

Try to get a look at the different colours in case there is one that you like.

I was originally going to order black but saw this colour in the showroom and thought it looked nice and a change from black.
