I have a Lexus RX450h registered 2016. Recently the following messages have been flashing unrelentingly on my display screen. 'Forward camera system unavailable' 'crash safety unavailable' and 'inner lane assist unavailable'. Strangely they only flash after I have been driving for 45 mins. When I park the car and commence driving again, the messages do not reappear until 45 minutes later! The additional message which only comes up a couple of times after the previous messages have flashed is 'clean sensor'. The solution therefore sounds obvious bu despite cleaning, the problem returns after 45 minutes. How do I solve this irritating problem?  Thankyou.

Hello everyone, just bought this '16 rx350.  My problem sounds interestingly close to Peter's problem,  drove the car on a 70 mile trip for the first time last night. about half way to my destination, I got the yellow triangle, and a message, Radar cruise unavailable, clean sensor. It has just started to spit a little rain, so I waited until I arrives and wiped the emblem, which appeared clean. Car was spotless when I started the trip. after 4 hour visit, I returned home. about half way, the cruise malfunctioned again, with the same warning. again the emblem appears clean. Note, I replaced the emblem when I bought the car with an aftermarket emblem. made of plastic, like the OEM. radar unit was installed exactly in the same place, care was taken not to change any adjustments of the radar sensor. It took about a half hour of driving each time, using the radar cruise, to have the malfunction. Any Ideas? I don't believe it's the aftermarket emblem, because it worked for a half an hour before the failure. Appreciate any suggestions. I have not checked codes yet. will be able to do that later today or tomorrow.
