My 2022 SC430 lately had a new set of spark plugs @73k mi. However, it struggles to respond when I step on gas pedal….no engine check sign.

I took old air filter out and replaced with a new one. Problem still exists!

Any advice?

throtle body sensor or accelerator pedal sensor?

Thank you!

Had the problem started straight after the spark plug change?

It might be a vacuum leak or any number of things.

As the plugs and filter were the last things that have been touched, I'd start by making sure nothing has been disturbed or broken first.  Check all the little lines on the intake system and inlet manifold, cracking, splits and disconnected is what you should look for initially.

A check for any stored fault codes will narrow down the search.

I am not an expert on this but it might be worth a try cleaning the MAF sensor as it is any easy job. Two bolts attach it on the air inlet after the filter and spray with a special spray that is easily available.
