TPMS light after 4 tyres replaced

Hi All,

It's been a while.

This is probably one for Bob.

I hade 4 tyres replaced today and the fitters couldn't get rid of the TPMS warning light and beeps which appeared despite following what they said is the Lexus reset process. I asked if the wheels were put refitted in their original position and they said they were. After a discussion which was getting heated I decided I was getting nowhere and left with the light on and the intermittent beeping.

Is this going to require a visit to Lexus to dianose the problem?

Regards Al

Are you sure the tyres are at the correct pressures? Have you tried resetting the system yourself, as shown in the handbook? A visit to the dealer might result in a FOC 5min reset?

Thanks Peter, I have checked the pressures they are all 33psi or above. I will check the handbook but I'm not sure the system can be reset on the SC.
