Make a profile and register it to the car. Keep key near start button so it's done fully

Thanks, I wasn't aware you could get rid of it that way. I tried registering via phone and qr code and kept getting an error. Will try again.

Sometimes after first registration it may log itself out a couple of times, but it should settle down afterwards.

Also be careful with your password as it seems sensitive to too many special characters. It seems to only like one for the best experience.

Not having any luck. I have the app and the car is registered on it. I then go to settings on the car infotainment screen and try to connect via qr code but it keeps failing.

Tried removing the car from the app and adding it back and that made no difference.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I had the same problem when I got my car last week.  When I tried the "Connect Your Account" link, I got a login screen but when I tried to login using the "My Lexus" credentials nothing happened. No error messages to help. I figured out that I  had to create a WiFi connection using the hotspot on my phone. This then allowed me to login and connect the account. I then set my profile to recognise my key and my phone. That got rid of the privacy notices and meant I could use my own profile rather than the Guest profile.

i'm slowly working my way through my other issues 😀

As an aside, I noted the use of the word "Trial" when setting up services in the app. As a retired IT guy I was suspicious of this and it seems I was right to be.  My initial impressions of the software are not great. I'm liking the car though.

Completely agree with the software comments. As an IT guy, I can see a lot of room for improvement. Biggest irritation is the whole trip meter setup. I can't swap between long term, short term, after refuel or after start trips. I was so easily able to do that in UX250H and all the other cars that I have ever owned. Am I missing a trick here?

The bloody thing, tried all the suggestions but to no avail.

The only way I've been able to get the car on the app is going via the registration and mileage verification.

I can't register via the screen. Don't get anywhere near registering keys.

Hmmm... will see if I can pop by the dealer for assistance.

Now sorted following visit to dealer, they set it up initially!

Thanks for replies.

So Glad You Got It Fixed Amit..!!

Unfortunately not, I still have the issue.

John from Durham was able to resolve it. I may have to visit the dealer.
