Es300h 2020 boot got stuck wont open , I have tried everything including valet mode in the glovebox but no result. I have been to mechanics they don't understand what's wrong. They think it's mechanical issue and long time to fix . I can not get itolnto trunk I have left my important documents in the bag id there anyway to access the trunk? I can't see emergency pull or anything like that ? The only option is remove the seats but how ?

Welcome to the forum

This sounds unusual.....what happens when you try to use the mechanic key.?

As a quick fix for your documents.....if you open the armrest in the middle of the rear seats, you can pull down a metal flap and get access to the boot....but you will only be able to get your arm in...might work if you had one of those litter pickers....

Not sure but perhaps a flat/tired/dead 12v Battery could be the issue here. I experienced various problems when mine decided it didn't want to play - I could still open the boot though!

Can you start the car?

Would Agree I Think Its Your 2v Battery That's Causing This issue....!!!

My thinking being that if you can start the car and either go for a drive or leave it running a while that should charge the 12v Battery sufficiently for you to open the boot.

If the car goes into Ready mode then it is already charing the 12v Battery and more than sufficient power is being delivered by the hybrid system to open the boot.

Were these Lexus technicians?

Have you tried your mechanical key in the boot lock?
