Hi all,

I'm slowly working my way through jobs to be done on my car. Currently the heat shield that goes from the exhaust and over the fuel tank is wrecked, there's literally nothing left of it due to rust. Does anyone know if replacements are available? I'm assuming it's important to keep the fuel tank shielded.

Thanks.

If it’s not a vestigial “ over the top” piece of protection I’d maybe think to get a replacement made-up locally ……. the Lexus replacement cost including carriage seems huge ……. it’s weighty for sure !

To my simple mind it looks like a chunk of style’ised steel sheet 🤔

Good luck

That looks like the one, part number 77606 👍I wonder if our Lexus dealers can get them, or do you think I'd have to order it from Japan? Thanks.

Worth trying - it will probably be cheaper to order from Amayama though. Part number of 77606-48070.

£186.95 from Amayama to include carriage seems “ huge “  for a slither of manufactured shaped steel  🤔
