Lexus connected service

Hi. I'm trying to set up connected service on my RX450h 2019. I've got the Lexus app and registered etc. I've got in the car, set up, nav, connected service but when I try and enter my email it doesn't fit. Should I be using a different username other than email? I've been trying to find something online but have given up. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply but I don't think this helps. I've registered with lexus.co.uk and the Lexus link app. I can see all my connected services like traffic, parking etc in the app on phone but when I try to enter user details in my car my username/email runs out of characters, so I can't enter it. It's not a particularly long email address. I'm wondering if I should be using something other than email as the username?
