Well my new RX450h+ Takumi has been picked up and is now sat on my driveway looking splendid (I think) in Sonic Copper.

Too many bongs on the drive back, but at least you can set the "You've exceeded the speed limit" one to add 4 mph.

The can't see driver one is annoying, but I'm hoping a bit of playing will make that less of a nuisance...

Looking splendid indeed!

Great car - I've had mine since March and now got over 5000 miles on the clock.

Happy motoring!

Congratulations on your new car, hope you enjoy many happy miles of motoring. You may find that the additional 4mph only applies to the DRCC setting rather than the speed limit warning. It took me and my dealer some time to figure this out. However after some muscle memory training I now mute the warning before all long journeys.

Ah, there appears to be two settings, you're right and I've changed the DRCC one and I'm guessing the RSA one gets reset everytime. Somewhat annoying that it's "setting varies according to country" which is nice and vague.

Yes it does. Sadly it’s not something that is automatically set by the My Settings profile so requires the driver to positively change it on each restart. Therefore on short, stop/start journeys I don’t bother to change it.

Only done 650 miles  in my 450h+ Takumi. Loving it so far, so comfortable  The speed bongs don't really bother me, however would appreciate some advise on how to get rid of the "check passenger" seats beeps when locking car?

Sorry to bombard you with pictures but hopefully they help. To temporarily disable the bongs you can hold the ‘OK’ button on the steering wheel when exiting the car. You can disable the rear seat warning through the Utilities menu in the car, but to disable the front passenger warning (which after all is probably the most used but is also the most obvious if you’ve left something, or someone, on the seat), requires dealer access.

Set it at 3mph over and it will probably be reading correctly at that point

Verify with GPS

Sadly @Xez is correct and I was setting the DRCC not the RSA limit, sadly although the option is listed in the manual to set this for the RSA I suspect we've been lumped into the EU/NI category and we can't change the setting (I can't see it in the car):
