Hello Lexus Enthusiasts,

I hope you’re all doing well! I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar issue with their 2016 Lexus GSF. I’ve noticed that my front headlights have become quite foggy, and it seems like moisture has gotten inside them.

I took my car to the service center, and they informed me that water had indeed entered the headlights. Unfortunately, they also mentioned that this issue may not be covered under warranty. Given that my GSF is accident-free and has been well-maintained, I was surprised to hear this.

Has anyone else dealt with this problem? If so, were you able to get the warranty to cover the replacement? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best, Hydrant (Martin)

Not with Lexus but with Mercedes and it was noted in a workshop bulletin that misted/fogged headlamps were not a warranty job.

Do your headlamps clear after a while when switched on? In this damp and cooling weather any moisture will condense but then clear once the lights warm up.

It should be noted that headlamps   (lights, lamps, bulbs, lenses, ) are specifically mentioned as not covered under the Relax warranty
