Is200 turbo dropping fuel pressure

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, recently bought a turbo is200. For the first week it ran like a dream, however it started dropping fuel pressure more and more every time I started it. I have checked the coils, sparks, the fuel pressure regulator and eventually got to the fuel pump.

I took out the pump to check if maybe the filter inside was clogged (it wasnt), but when I put the pump back into the tank and started the car, it ran on good pressure (.6 on the fuel pressure regulator gauge). It ran perfect for about 24hr and then dropped the pressure again. I put it down to a bad fuel pump and bought an aftermarket one rated for 350LPH. Put that one in and it ran the pressure up again to .6 on the gauge. Again, 24hr later I started the car in the morning and it's at .2.

Has anyone had the same experience or can think of something that I can check?

Thank you all in advance!
