Thought I'd drop a quick introduction and say hello.

We just bought a 2022 NX350h in Terrane Khaki, it's a Premium Plus model I believe and it's full of kit, dare I say too much?!

It's my wife's car, she's come from a 2007 Golf GTi Edition 30 which we've had from almost new so quite a leap in refinement and technology. We purchased it from an Audi dealer in Coulsdon, of all places. It was part exchanged for a new Audi.

It drives very well, will probably ditch the run flats when tyres need replacing if I can get Michelin Cross Climate 2's but then we have the issue of no spare.

Anyway, look forward to putting miles on it and getting my head around all the technology.

And some pics

Cheers

Hi Amit, welcome to the LOC.

Congratulations on the car. I too have a 2022 NX350h Premium Plus (bought from new) and am still loving it, almost 3 years later. It hasn't skipped a beat in all that time.

I would agree with you about the conundrum of whether to replace the run flat tyres with standard tyres when the time comes. The standard tyres should be a bit cheaper to replace; be a bit quieter and allow for a more comfortable ride but then there's no spare. My car has only done 15,000 miles and there's plenty of tread left on the tyres so I can delay that decision for a bit longer. I know that NX owners in the US have managed to source a small spare and have worked out how to secure it in the boot but I'm not sure that would be viable for me.

Anyway, good luck with the car.

Just to add that my advice would be to check that all of the "recalls" on the car (there have been a few) have been carried out by Lexus. Not just for the usual safety reasons but one of these will enable Proactive Driving Assist which wasn't an option on the 2022 NXs.

Hi Andy, thanks for the warm welcome.

Pleased to hear you've had a good experience, ours is on similar mileage and tyres have plenty of tread. I did look at space saver wheel options and specs but it looks like nx300h and the latest Rav4 (supposedly same platform as NX350h) have different lug sizes M12 Vs M14 of ours.

Your second post actually helped alleviate some concerns. Our car has been at the dealership 5 times since delivery in March 2022 for "Repairs" and twice for the service "Hybrid Health check". I thought we had bought a nail hence owner getting rid so soon.

Cheers!
