Cigar Lighter sockets - fusing

I have a 2022 Lexus 450h and believe I have overloaded the two cigar lighter sockets (1 in centre console and 1 in the boot), so neither work. I have looked at the 'P/Outlet' 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the glove box and it appears to be okay. Does anyone know if there are any secondary fuses for each socket and where they are located?

May be a different fuse box because I'm sure mine are labeled as 'Cig' rather than P/Outlet but I could be wrong.

By the way, you should never rely on just a visual alone because they can sometimes look alright when they're not. Use a multimeter and check for continuity through the fuse.

I noticed last week that none of my cig ports work, but the nearby usb port have power.

I have a dash cam fitted (by lexus) - no idea whats going on.

do the usb ports have different fuses than the cig lighters?

On my old Camry there was a micro fuse built into the final connection of the socket i.e. part of the socket. As a non smoker and knowing what I wanted to use it for I by passed that fuse and all was well for the following 12 years of ownership.

What he ^^^^ said. In addition to the usual ACC fuse there is a fusible link built into the base of the lighter socket. If the socket is overloaded through the use of a 12V tyre compressor or similar, the link will melt. Easiest solution would be to buy a new socket as they are readily available on eBay and the like.
