Hi all

i need to sell a Soarer in a metallic blue/ lilac with cream leather upholstery. It has been sat in a garage for the past 12 years and is currently SORN. Bodywork looks very good - car has done over 100,000 miles but when put away 12 years ago had no problems with engine etc. it is covered now in a layer of dust and has a flat tyre. The car is owned by my father who has not touched it for the last 12 years or so - but he is moving home and does not have room to take it. Is anyone interested in the vehicle? I do have pictures of it. Based near Reading, Berkshire.

Hi Julian, with the car sitting (presumably untouched?) for 12 years, I would highly recommend for you to leave it exactly as is and get in touch with Jonny Smith from The Late Brake Show channel on YouTube, this sounds like a perfect premise for another one of his Barn Find episodes!

He's recently done an episode with a 1992 Lexus LS400, and it sounds like your car might have some interesting stories behind it as well. Jonny usually helps the owner with uncovering the car, taking it out from the garage, cleaning it, and trying to start it for the first time after some diagnostics. The cars featured on these episodes have a very high chance of being sold later on, as Jonny has a very large fanbase of car enthusiasts, and having it feature in an episode would give you incredible exposure 🙂

Don’t hold your breath on this one Brian, the OP hasn’t been back on this site since last Wednesday …… maybe he’s just not bothered really or perhaps it’s a potential SCAM 🤔
