Hi guys

Well, I took it to lex tek again  last week to get the gearbox serviced, oil and strainer, just preventative maintenance and an mot, it passed again, just the 1 advisory, rear bearings have slight play, I replaced these 2years ago, I did question it and was told, its nothing to worry about really qam, it's very tiny bit of play, anyway that's all done for another year and now parked up again

I am looking for a cheap run around as a daily, I dont drive the Ls so will park it up and give a drive around twice a month, and motorway driving only as I've been doing.

So if anyone has a cheap run around, let me know please

😄I’ve got two cheap runarounds but they’re both ancient Ls400s 😂🤣

Might you get yourself a cheapy Toyota runaround baby car……. peace of mind and hopefully great reliability too

Hi Qamar.  Glad you're keeping the Lex.  Mine isn't a daily driver but I try to use it once a week.  It's my long-distance drive and I took it to Bournemouth (100 miles, mostly dual carriageway, each way) last weekend.  It didn't miss a beat.  I can recommend a Yaris as a cheapish runaround.

When I do a long journey in mine, I think to myself: why would I get rid of this car and drive anything else?

You can't park a Toyota Hotpoint next to the LS. 🤣
Get a Dacia Sandero. They are so basic that every time you get in the LS400 you will feel you are in the lap of luxury 😁

May I suggest that if you get a Dacia, that putting wheels on church pew might be step up on the luxury front
