Look for deals on the New RX450h+

Recommended Posts

Hey, I am upgrading from my 2023 ES to the RX450h+. I looked at carwow and currently there is a 4k deposit contribution with 1.9 apr for deal going on on the premium plus. There is another 4700 dealer discount which makes the over all discount of around 12% on the 69k list price. It looks like a pretty good deal and was just wondering if anyone else has anything better offered?

I just did a similar sort of deal on my RX450h+ Takumi (which I'm picking up on Friday) after I got sick of the Gen 4 theft issues. I did look at part-ex on the gen 4 RX when the gen 5 cars came out and the monthly payments were double with an APR of 8% from memory.

I did get a dealer discount of around 4K on top of the 4K deposit contribution. The only real issue for me is the size of the final payment on the PCP deal (I think it's ~50% of the final car price)

I think this is only available on the PHEV models so I suspect it's to help get the manufacturers meet their 0% emission requirements for this year. The RZ is available on a 0% deal but range anxiety is very real for me with family in Manchester / Edinburgh.

I didn't go through CarWow this time, but last time used them for a discount, so I'd guess most dealers are offering something for the PHEV.

Difficult to be certain... I'm getting 28K and a quick look on AutoTrader  / Lexus UK shows a few around 30-33K for a 2020 RX450h depending on spec / mileage. Mines low mileage so my guess is the dealer should have a 3-4K profit margin which doesn't seem too unreasonable and it's zero hassle on my behalf.
