Question about Cleaning Products for Lexus UX 250h

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a Lexus UX 250h Premium Sports Spec, which comes with a leather interior, and the interior color is black.

I’d really appreciate some advice on the best products to use for cleaning both the leather seats and plastic surfaces. I’m looking for something that will keep the original coloring intact without causing any fading or damage to the leather or fabric over time.

I don’t mind if the product is a bit expensive, as long as it’s high-quality and ensures the longevity of the interior.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

As the leather is sealed a simple wipe with a damp cloth is all that's needed. Lexus recommend a weak wool soap solution in luke warm water for deeper cleaning. A gentle vacuum before to remove any gritty bits etc is best done routinely to help prevent cracks forming due to abrasion.

The non leather surfaces just wipe over with a microfibre cloth any marks or fingerprints can be removed with a proprietary interior detailing spray. I use Meg's quick interior detailer.

Your handbook will give recommend routine cleaning advice.
