Hi guys,

Just bought a 250h UX 2020 and there's no jack or wheel brace, just a tow eye and emergency inflation kit. The vehicle has run flat tires fitted. So my question:- is this correct.

I think this is correct. I bought a used space saver wheel and jack and keep them in the boot in the space underneath the main loading area.

I'm not using tyre foam, I'd always prefer to have a spare wheel / tyre.

Hope you like your new car, I have an F Sport too, same colour as yours.

Afternoon Tony - I'd be really interested in your (initial) thoughts on how your UX drives.  Would you call it a dual carriageway/motorway cruiser? If not, why not?  My current issues to date are well publicised on this forum - would appreciate your thoughts on the issues I seem to currently have.  What I would love is to be able to spend time with another UX and see how it compares to mine.

Hi Pauly

I only picked it up on Friday so not really got to grips with it yet. I went on the motorway for a 40 mile run (horrendous weather) so it was difficult to get a feeling for the car. I will post some comments once I've driven it a bit more. At present I can't fault it. And I'll have a read of your views.

Hi Tony

It is correct - no jack or wheelbrace with run flat tyres.  If you do allow one to run flat, the tyre will be toast and will have to be replaced.  So I carry a small inflator pump which works fine if it is a slow puncture.

I don't bother with a jack or wheelbrace - I am past changing a wheel myself - but a space saver wheel would be an option if you wanted.  It should fit under the boot floor if you remove some of the compartments - there are other threads about this
