Hi all,

My 600h’s front upper control arm bushing are starting to perish and I’ve been advised to get new ones.

Lexus wants £400 per arm of which there’s 4 total front upper arms so £1600 just for parts. Amayama and LPD does it for ~£300 per arm so a bit cheaper but still very expensive.

I’ve bought a 4 Mevotech supreme arms for £250 total shipped but made a mistake and bought only upper forwards and no upper rears.

Looking around it seems like non OEM arms go for around £50-90 and I don’t think it’s worth getting them OEM since I want to go EV in the next 2-3 years.

LS600h and LS460 AWD have the same control arm setup but manufacturers only make front upper rearward for the LS460 RWD which isn’t very common over here.

Does anyone have experience with third party control arms especially upper rearward arms?

P.S if anyone wants front upper forward control arms for the LS600/460 let me know 🙂

There  are a couple of blogs on u-tube regarding the replacement aftermarket arms and the results in general are very poor some lasted less than nine months before the bushings virtually collapsed.
