USB data and charging sockets

Just taken delivery of an LBX Takumi and currently on a voyage of discovery.

Am I correct in thinking there is only one USB data socket with the other three being charging only? If so it means I have to swap between Android Auto, iPod and music thumb drive rather than having them all plugged in and selected from the main screen. Seems a bit churlish to have released a new model with such limited functionality or am I mistaken?

If I am not wrong would a USB hub provide the functionality?

Some supplementary questions :

1. I can't get the car to recognise my iPod Touch 5th Gen with Bluetooth or via the USB - I get a message about it not being supported. I see from the manual they only mention the Touch 7th Gen. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong? Only difference between the two generations is 5th Gen is Bt 4.0 and 7th is Bt 4.1.

2. Anybody found an MP3 player that will work with the LBX Bluetooth? If so which make?

An update on this. The iPod Touch 7th Generation works happily on Bluetooth, but no other iPods will. Once connected it appears in 'Sources'. I powerted mine from one of the rear USB sockets and fed the cable into the centre arm rest compartment into the iPod. As long as you have no Pin set on the iPod it will resume from where it left off as soon as you power up the car.

I also fitted an Ottocast A2AirPro wireless Android Auto adapter based on the excellent reviews and I can endorse it connects quickly and reliably. Beautifully made, very small and has a button to switch between two phones without disconnecting from the car. It comes with an adhesive pad so I have stuck it to the roof of the phone cubby without compromising room for the phone. Unfortunately it does mean you can't enjoy the beautiful blue pyramid which lights up when it connects!
