Thank you fro allowing me to join your esteemed forum, in the past week I bought a used ES300h premium, just a tad over 3500 miles, absolutely delighted with the car, a really nice drive. I do have a question, are the door mirrors supposed to fold when I lock the car? In the two days of having the car, the mirrors either stay put, or I have on one occasion had one in and one out, I have tried getting information from the manual but even that is confusing. Any help appreciated greatly.

This is Customisable in the Settings .Ie Fold in when locking or Not..!!!

Are you using the paper manual..? The .pdf one is around twice as long...

You don't say what MY year the car is. My 2022 ES Premium wing mirrors don't fold and don't have the option too.

I have a MY23 and the mirrors fold by the manual door switch, there is no auto function on this vehicle in my opinion.

These positions close the mirrors on locking and also makes the mirrors dip in reverse:



Auto button to the right, LR button to the left.

The MY25 Premium (aka Premium Edition) does not have auto-fold.

However, you can fold them manually, turn off ignition, and then put the button back to the centre: this will see them open automatically on restart.
