Hi all, quick query anyone with a mk3.  450H 2007ish.

The boot lid has always been heavy to lift open since I bought a year ago.....is this normal or might i need new struts ? Looks like you just pop them off to replace if needed (or am I being to optimistic!?) Thought you other owners might advise as I don't have any 450H's around to compare...the bonnet is dead easy to lift. ?!

It's not as light as the alloy bonnet, but shouldn't be heavy.

 

Get new struts, they cheap and do wear out and do just pop off as you say 👍
