audio CD/Cassette problems

Car had been getting work done in workshops for the last month and a half, when I finally got it back the stereo wouldn’t select CD or Cassette/ go into those modes, Battery had been disconnected and reconnected due to the work done, any ideas please?

Was the work carried out in any audio area, dash removal for example, just thinking something may have been disconnected and not plugged back in ?

Thanks for the reply but no, just a load of bodywork stuff, arches etc 

the front facing vents seem to have also stopped working not sure if it’s connected?

Could be a Blown fuse....Just a Thought..!!! If they were Both Functional Before you Had it Attended to then it must have been Something THEY have done......

Not sure as the rest of the stereo works, however the cd will try to load a disk but never says it’s ready for one, makes me think it’s lost the memory of how many disks are in it, because I know there is 6 in there right now that it won’t eject
