CVT Question/Concernfulness

Recommended Posts

Hi Mellow Fembers,.
This may be a wee idiot syncratic of the CVT gearbox, of which Imhave no prior cognisance, but although the car drives perfectly well with no gearchange issues, more often than not, warm or cold, there is a minor roughness/ vibration felt through the gas pedal on initial take away, almost like an old clutch plate slipping very slightly. Have read some horrorific CVT expense to fix stories……no want that, please God guy.

Ring a bellhousing with anybody…? Not my bike, but lovely.

Not something I have experienced, does it happen in both ICE and EV modes?

I would hope it's covered by warranty if there is a problem.

It might be the system "kicking in" the engine.Get the graphic showing the engine \battery\wheels up on the screen to see if the engine engagement coincides.

And,yes,nice Triumph.

This is a Kevin theory, peeps. Could I be experiencing a wee lazy  lekky parking brake release, as this wee vibration happens mainly when taking away on small gradients when the lekky brake has deployed..? Younwill gey used to my Kevin theories, in time, hopefully.LOL.

Are you using the Brake Hold function, that does give a bit of a jolt when first moving off.

Yes. Just always been on since got car in March. Will switch off and reportify.
