Configuring Steeting Wheel Touch Controls

Hi,

On the right hand side touch controls (see screenshot), on the first page are two dots that do not appear to have any function.

I thought it would be possible to configure these to do something. I have tried without success.

It appears on both LHS and RHS button clusters that only page 2 can be configured .The screeshot above is the first page of controls on the RHS.

Does anyone know why these two dots are here as they appear to have no function at all and if they can be configured to have a function?

I found this video on configuring the touch controls on the steering wheel and found it useful however the video linked does not cover this either and seems to ignore these two dots:

They are just there to help you navigate the controls. In your example you are in the driving assist settings page - here there are only two functions assigned to the 4-way control - if there is a dot there is no function. When you disable adaptive cruise control you get three dots as only one function is now available (video 4:04).

 

 

These aren't user configurable - you cannot add functionality to the driving assist options page.

Thanks for confirming 👍. That's saved me more time trying to do something that isn't possible.
