Difference?

Good morning, I have been trying different modes on the 450h and while I can see and feel an obvious difference between normal and sport or eco and sport but I cannot feel or see any difference on the dashboard between eco and normal. 

Is this correct? Thanks.

When in eco mode I'm sure "eco" is displayed on left hand side of display.

Originally I drove mainly in normal mode but now normally drive in eco. Not sure if there is much of a difference.

I just leave mine in Normal and I still get amazing economy.

All Eco does is change the throttle mapping to make it less sensitive. If you need all the beans, flooring the throttle overrides Eco and gives you full power. Plus you get the Eco light in the instrument cluster as you say.

In my Prius putting it into Eco also put the AC into Eco mode too. Not sure if the NX does this, but I have mine set to Eco in the climate settings.

Thanks, I drive normally in eco and sometimes in sport for some fun, don't usually use normal, now I know why.

I drove to work this morning and changed from ECO to normal mode and found that the electric motor didn’t kick in as much so changed back to ECO.

I have experienced just the same as you, particularly on long runs.
