Lexus Link+app - Vehicle Status

Now that the Lexus Link+ app appears to be up and running again, I wish to seek views from other LBX owners.  Since I got my Takumi back in April I have always had issues with the Vehicle Status.  Initially it continued to show doors, windows etc., as unlocked/open.  It then changed to show them as locked even when the vehicle is clearly unlocked. The dealer was unable to help and the App team likewise.  Neither indicated that others have had similar issues.

Throughout I have noted that the date/time on the Status Screen never matched with the detail on the Home Screen but is always an earlier time possibly associated with the start of the journey.  Refreshing the app has no effect on the information shown.

Has any other LBX owner experienced similar issues or has the app worked without a problem.  Any advice would be appreciated.  To me the vehicle status is a fundamental element which has never failed on my previous vehicles.

Have you erased your phone from the equation ?

The phone seems to be connecting in other respects for Hybrid Coaching and for notification message, although messages are subject to a lengthy delay. 
My phone is an Iphone 14 and I don’t have access to another phone other than an earlier Iphone model which I may try later today. Thanks

I have the same phone & zero issues.

When you get the 3 Options @ the start are you pressing the right-hand Multi media Option that then gives the ACP screen ?

Ive had several strange problems with this app functionality (android on 2 different phones).  Latest one was it stopped updating early Wednesday everning, not logging trips etc etc   It seems this was due to server issues somewhere in the Lexus infrastructure. As of this morning things seem to be mostly working again. So it will now send me notifications when I forget to lock it (something I do sometimes as my last car locked itself when you walked away from it - which I was very used to.....), and trips are now being logged again. However the status hasn't updated since yesterday evening and is incorrect, and refreshing it doesn't help. So it still says it's unlocked (when it isn').

I totally agree that the vehicle status is a fundamental part of owning one of these cars, and should work reliably.  This last issue is the second time it appears some server issue or infrastructure in Lexus has been down for several days in the 4 weeks I've owned the car.  

Not really good enough Lexus !!!

Thanks for your reply Tel but unfortunately I’m having difficulties in following the advice. With 3 option at the start are we referring to the Iphone or car?  Your assistance is much appreciated and sorry if I’m a little slow with such issues.

When you initially start the car the second screen that comes up offers you 3 Options & it is the Option above that I refer to.

Thanks Tel for the reply. Sorry for the delay but I was out when I received you message.  Now I have you message and I’m back home I have checked the system. On my car the second screen refers to loading my settings and then there is a safety message and press continue. So I don’t get the 3 options. 
however I’ve been into the settings where I found the 3 options I sected the 3rd option voice & Multimedia which are now saved. I’ll see what now happens over the coming days and will let you know in due course. 
what I have noticed is that Appleplay does not appear to be available now. Is that the case with yourself?

ACP is the next screen most of the time although it can appear as an App on the top right hand corner on the Lexus Map itself.

I always have ACP live when I drive my car.
