Can NX300h owners give some insights on below please:

ride quality

refinement and noise levels

real life mpg

New NX350h is too expensive atm so looking at either ES or old NX300h

Will really appreciate thoughts from the owners

I ran a NX300h from 2018 - 2022 and rate the car highly. Harsh acceleration will result in a noticeable increase in noise levels mainly due to CVT transmission but in general use its a very refined drive and many passengers were complimentary of the ride quality. That said its not a sports car but a vehicle that you can enjoy "wafting" along in.

I did c31500 miles over the 4 years and recorded every refuelling so on a basis of brim to brim my worst consumption was 30.48mpg (February) and the best 46.04 (August). Overall was c41mpg. I mention the months becausr outside temperatures make significant differences to fuel consumption in a hybrid vehicle - always in the low - mid 40's in spring and summer but mid to high 30's in autumn/winter.

I thoroughly recommend the NX300h but add that buying one from a Lexus dealer with full service history is sensible. Would also go for the "Luxury" pack specification or higher.

Agree with this having owned two NX300h. It’s absolutely at its best, and most refined, driven in a relaxed manner. I’d say if you are an ‘aggressive’ driver then look elsewhere, but if not it’s pretty much perfect. Wafting along shows it in its most natural environment.

Beautifully made - personally I think higher quality interior than the latest generation - quite practical and comfortable.

Make sure you get an insurance quote before purchase as I think it’s affected by the Canbus issue (but could be wrong, plenty of info on the forum if you search). ES is definitely affected.
