So I drve a 2016 IS 200t. I rotated my tires myself today. Easy enough. After the rotation I turned my car on and when put into reverse the car won’t budge. Nor will it move forward in drive. It feels very much like the emergency brake is on though made sure it was not on and even tried putting that brake on and off to see if maybe it got jammed but it appears fine. I reset the tpms as the car wasn't reading the tire pressures. After I reset it the tire pressure were reading but my car still won’t move forward or go in reverse. It’s as if the tires are locked or jammed. If I press on the gas it won’t move. I cannot find answers for the issue anywhere. Can anyone help? Has this happened to anyone?

OEM wheels or modified aftermarket? Are the wheels same size front and rear? Wheel sud protruding and catching on the hub?

Swap them back to see if it resolves your problem? Aa above your alloys maybe rubbing against your brake caliper due to no clearance.

When you jacked the car up did you chock the wheels by any chance to stop it rolling? If you did may be you forgot to remove it from one of the wheels.

What your describing sounds like a driveshaft has popped out of the hub/gearbox but very unlikely after just doing a wheel swap.

Just to double check are all the tyres the same size? I think on the is200t the rear tyres are meant to be thicker 255/40 18 and 225/40 18 on the front. If so theyre not meant to be rotated. Not sure if having those on the front now means they're fouling something. As someone suggested try swapping them back and see if that resolves the issue.
