I haven’t been on the forum for many years as my car, which I’ve now had for 9 years has never had an issue. I’ve just had it serviced and MoT’d. Pass as usual and no work required. It’s done 116,000 miles. Apart from tyres (Michelin Cross Climates usually get 60,000 miles out of them) and wiper blades the only parts replaced are rear discs and pads at the last service (106,500 miles). Fronts still have 6mm left but the discs are starting to corrode so Lexus suggested replacing at the next service. Auxiliary Battery went flat in 2021 after three weeks without use. Started by the AA and Battery is still fine. I get an annual average of 33.9 but in the summer average 37-39mpg. Keep thinking about changing but then think why. Best car I’ve ever owned.

As a fellow 2012 Gen3 RX owner (15 months and counting) it's reassuring to read your ownership story Geoff, just hope mine follows your lead!

Why change indeed, it sounds like your RX is giving you faithful service....long may it continue👍
