Too far for me really (but I’m sold on the drive out in the other thread) - did you go - any pics? Explaining the LC to people is quite entertaining because a lot (even car enthusiasts!) seem to think it’s electric.

Was a lovely day out, everyone wants to chat about their cars, one even invited to sit in his Vintage immaculate Vauxhall Victor, normally a big no no 😅. We had a blast afterwards, did a big circular route via 'Betsy', Porthmadog, Blaenau Ffestiniog and back, with a dip in a lake half way round. All after I pulled the plugs on the exhaust valves 🤣

Going back to the 1970s there was a weekly televised “TV transmission report” which gave details of ongoing engineering works. Betws y coed transmitter tower always seemed to get mentioned.

Always wanted to go and see where it was and a classic car show would have been an added bonus.
