2018 on NX Models available minus glass roof?

Recommended Posts

Hi All

NX a contender to replace my GS and the Missus Juke. The non glass roof models definitely have enough headroom for me. (Am 6'4 and long in the back). Can anyone confirm which models have the glass roof as:

Not available, optional, compulsory.

Had a a good look on the Autotrader but still yet to nail the above down.

Cheers.

There are a few on Autotrader that are North of the Border with solid roofs. Similarly Lexus Edinburgh have some that don't have the glass roof options.

Primarily are the sports seats as comfortable as the other models?

Comfort is subjective but they are a different design with more side support - possibly slightly firmer too. The F Sport suspension is also firmer than the other grades.

Cheers. There is a F Sport going that my missus likes too. How firm is firm when it comes to the ride? Granted you get better handling as a benefit. Are we talking an S Line type ride?

Have only driven a NX F sport once but didn't notice the suspension as being over firm. Side bolsters on front seats firmer than the other grades.

Thanks again for the responses. Definitely leaning towards this particular vehicle. Heard some mixed stories about fuel economy, especially on a long run. But is that just alarmist waffle from those used to oil burners?

Economy can vary greatly between drivers and journey types. The NX300h isn't as good as you would expect, but it is better on the facelift models (2018 onwards). 38 mpg is a good assumption for higher speed long runs - some get better than that.

I have an F Sport and certainly wouldn't call the ride firm. Very comfortable I would call it 😀

To give an idea on fuel consumption I had a 2018 NX 300h luxury for 6 years.

Overall MPG over those years was 42mpg.

On a recent triop to France travelled 1200 miles and averaged 47.2 mpg. Cruise control set on 65mph for motorways.

As has been said before, they don't like cold weather and donj't suit all driving styles.

Just put a deposit down on a 2018 F sport at a main dealer. Really liked the look of the car. Drive indeed wasn't noticibly firm. Seat comfort was excellent too. Headroom about the same as my GS.
