Leather seat mark removal

Any of you detailing pro's out there have a fix for this ?

It's like a small wear mark in my is300h f sport driver seat .

Anyone ever tried leather dye for something like this

Looks like a simple fix. At best you just dye the bit in question and are happy. At worst you prep and re-dye the bolster in it's entirety. I got Black dye from Gliptone UK. Scuffmaster finish. If you get a sheen difference you might also end up using an appropriate sealant. Link.

No disrespect, but I would not do that. Same reason I would not wax wood when it's a 'stain' I am looking for. Wax is a 'bitch' to strip off if it's not what you are looking for ,or just does not do the job. When that get's absorbed into the leather itself then if you want to remove it it will probably mean enlarging the original problem.

That isn't going to work well on standard Lexus leather seats as they are sealed. Possibly ok for semi-aniline leather on higher end models/grades (not the IS) but even they are somewhat sealed.

The simplest solution to conceal the mark would be a black Sharpie permanent marker pen.

But where it's scuffed I would think any sealant has long since worn away, so could actually work well as only the damaged area will take the dye.

Thats a good shout, I was despondent with a couple of marks on my seats (caused by previous owner) and after MANY months in desperation cleaned seats, utilised some leather glue and a fine marker pen.  Then nourished the leather and my work colleagues thought that I had the seat professionally repaired as now cant see where the marks were.
