Front camera recall

Today for me.  Annoyingly just after it came back from the dealer.

i appreciate they are on top of things,but surprised how many of these we've received.

I received the letter too so I phoned my local dealer (Lexus Woodford) and the nice lady in the bookings department told me that they are waiting for a special tool to arrive before they can action this particular recall 🤷‍♂️ They will add my details to the list of owners who have called them about the recall and will contact me when this tool is available. This seemed slightly strange to me as I assumed it was a software fix but I didn't labour the point.

I wonder if others on here have had a similar response.

Booked mine in today for 16 September. Seems that the first step is to check the camera and then order parts if necessary. So not just a software fix.

Interestingly the letter said at the bottom “ In addition our records show that there are additional campaign(s) outstanding” i mentioned this to the dealer and they said that their records show none outstanding.🤔 Maybe it was the last recall that was going to be done OTA?

Had my recall done today. Another outstanding service from RRG Lexus Bolton. Courtesy car waiting for me and on collecting my own car back it had been washed and filled up with fuel.
