Have already posted in the UX 250h branch of the forum, but didn't pick up this beauty until today.  Got home with her a couple of hours ago.  My first Lexus - having gone from a 15 year old BMW 325i Touring (a lovely car I was sad to see the back of).  Very cool, in very in-yer-face Blue....am so looking forward to wafting around in her😉

Beautiful car and colour. Please get it a good wax / coating job, either DIY or professional. That will make it pop even more.

Welcome to LOC and congratulations on your purchase. I have a 70 plate UX 250h ( my third Lexus over 20 yrs) in the same colour. IMHO the UX is a brilliant car I am sure you will love it. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any queries they are a good bunch on here.

Paul.. Now think about Security of your Pride and Joy.. Get Yourself a Steering Wheel Lock Stoplock Pro or Milenco Which i have ( Looks Cool ) Also i Would recommend a DB2 From Rewire Security ..This little device Fits on to the 12v Battery And Shows where the car is 24/7 You Can fit it yourself in 10 Mins.. It provides you also with info on The Current Charge of your 12v Battery /Hybrid Battery and a Myriad of Other Usefull Information..If you Park your Car in the Driveway get CCTV installed Monitoring your Car All The time Especially at Night And Keep both Sets of keys in a Faraday pouch again especially at night...These cars are Targets For the Unsociable Cretins of Society So Take steps to Prevent Your Car Being Stolen......Hope this Helps..!!! But Do Remember If a Professional Car Thief Wants your car ITS OFF..

Cheers Ronnie.  A Faraday box and pouches I already have😉 I’ll go to a good steering wheel lock/cover but I think that will all be the farthest I’ll go to.  CCTV not really an option and, in my opinion, not the greatest vehicle theft deterrent.  Like most of us on here, I await the Lexus/Toyota recall to fix the CAN bus injection threat…..if it ever comes for a UX🤔🤔

Paul.. I like The Milenco Steering Wheel Lock Over the Stoplock Pro Although A Lot of people go for the Stoplock..The Milenco lock I Position Vertically over Two of the Three Struts which makes it Much More difficult to Remove In My Opinion It also looks a lot Better if I Can Throw that in....!!!! The CCTV I know Is limited in Detecting Criminals But I Have Mine set To Give an Audible Alarm if anybody Comes near the Car Thats why i suggested CCTV... It Gives you Time to Let Croccy The Crocodile And The Mother-in-Law loose If you see what i Mean..!! Cheers !!!!
