RX 2024 easiest way to change to sport mode

Recommended Posts

Hi, I’ve just placed an order for RX.  The NX I have has a conveniently placed dial to change mode from normal/sport/eco, I don’t even need to look where it is.  Lexus in their wisdom have moved this to a menu within the infotainment screen.  Is there an easy way to witch between modes ?

Your NX could also be put into sports mode by knocking the gear lever sideways. Is this also not available on the gen 5 RX

I’m not sure on the NX I thought the sideways gear shift put it in more of a ‘manual mode but didn’t change the throttle etc

Hi, if you have the RX with the configurable buttons on the steering wheel you can set a button to be Sport, Normal, Eco or Custom. I’ve set the buttons on the right hand key pad to be (upper) Normal and (lower) Custom as these are the two modes I use most. Hope this helps
