WINTER FUEL PAYMENT

I'm understanding this morning that the Unions had a big fight on their hands to even get this debated at the Labour Party  Conference  ........ relegated, sidelined to tomorrow, the final day, when many Representatives won't be there coz they'll be wending their way home and    NEITHER     will our Prime Minister likely be there ......  he'll have more pressing issues

Let's see eh !  if he's not there then to my mind, and many here too I feel, that will be the final nail in his Social Conscience as a proper Socialist caring for the / his Nation's  OAPs

Shame on her!

If we go back to the original post being the WFA, I can't help wondering if all this donation news would have ever come out if the WFA hadn't been scrapped. It's a backlash to the plan, and the backlash isn't just from the public, but from the media as well, and the mainstream media generally has their strings pulled by government, that shows just how unpopular the move is!

Good point Phil. Historically, investigative journalists are like greyhounds now that this particular hare is running. And if history is to repeated don't be surprised to learn of more and more revelations as time goes by. But don't expect resignations soon. Doing the honourable thing is a principle long since gone, consigned to history along with the WFA. ☹️

I can't argue with any of that. I just hope the greyhound keeps running and doesn't end up being like my greyhound, as seen in our local!

If anyone has the time it is well worth checking out Dr David Starkey's content/channel on You Tube.

He is hard going but has a grasp of the situation and puts it into words so well. He has much to say about Starmer and Gray.

He is a Conservative and was cancelled by the BBC which is a bit of a badge of honour really.

Just thinking if this suggested

NPC. NATIONAL PENSIONERS CONVENTION

7th October march in London ( is it ? ) might have some more pertinent focus ……. as these days towards it progress and the Govt and its Labour MPs try to focus less on the plight of the 11.4mn OAPs and the abrupt catastrophic cancellation of the

WINTER FUEL PAYMENT

This NPC is a body that seems to have, at its heart, the needs of UK. OAPs. …….. and of course the millions in this nation that aspire to become OAPs 🤞🤞🤞

Alongside David is also Rafe Heydell Mankoo both unbelievably proud of this nations history unlike the National Trust who, today, said 70% of it's staff were anti the Union Flag 🤯. Sack them all today, close up the properties until they recruit staff loyal to this country. And every NT subscriber should make their annual fees conditional on making this happen.

Sir Keir Harmer has fled the country ……. he’s now today in New York doing essential UN politiks

What an utter DISGRACE

abandoning the Conference and the essential debate on the WINTER FUEL PAYMENT CANCELLATION

DISGRACEFUL and utter contempt for our OAPs

I was particularly interested in his extract from Parliamentary regs on declaring gifts etc. Used as a tool to examine some of their recent behaviour it is difficult to see how they have not contravened those regs.

Psychology is my thing you might say. For good reason as I have yet to find a better way in which to analyse behaviour. Take for example what we know about body language and facial expression. Now why would i feel comfortable thinking I am under the governance of this?

if they really are concerned about the running of the National Trust view www.restoretrust.org.uk

What a great site definitely worth reading and supporting, I particularly like this comment

"The National Trust is set to make half of its cafe food vegan to support its efforts to reach net zero."

And K. Starmer criticised the Conservatives for claiming that the NT pursued "woke" policies.

This nothing to do with "posh". This is a reflection of her personna and the way she reacts to others presumably when the subject is contentious.

But there's a 22 Zillion pound black hole and it was a difficult decision and it's not their fault and they were forced to do it even though they didn't want to, but they had to do it and some pensioners have zillions of pounds and live in big houses with dogs and things and what about the young people who can't afford a shed in London and all those wealthy expat pensioners ...   zzzz .....zzz something's gone wrong, my head hurts, I can't go on. Thank God for that!  NURSE!!!
