Carbon trims

Anyone know where I can get the carbon trims,

can they be removed/re coated as one panel inside to the right of the steering wheel is blistering and the one on the front bumper,

Also seen the wing mirror covers for sale on eBay and wondered if anyone has tried them as I do think the wing mirrors would look good in carbon,

You can buy new ones from Lexus (££££££). Or you can remove the remaining lacquer yourself without removing the trim and leave if with the natural matt finish. Or remove the trims completely and spray it with clear lacquer yourself. There are for threads online how to do it on an American forum

I have had the one in the front bumper of our GS F stripped back, re lacquered and then PPF by a bodyshop and Topaz detailing

Thanks for the replies,

looks as though Strip/relacquer is the  way to go,,

I am going to speak with my mechanic who also has a body repair shop,

also have same issue with one in the front bumper,

any lock it won’t happen to all the carbon trims🤞

It’s most common on both dashboard trims and centre console around the gear selector. The front is probably due to stone chips. It’s also happened to my rear spoiler and front door cards.

As much as Lexus claims it’s an isolated case, it’s well documented and I imagine it will happen to all GS  Fs at some point.
One of the last UK GS Fs on a 19 plate appeared on AT earlier this year IIRC and the photos showed that the dash carbon was delaminating.
