Ls400 new tyres

seem to be a bit of a dying breed ......  getting challenging to track down now I'm told    225/60/16  ................ too small to stock for many  ........  most cars are 18/19/20 he's telling me

Just ordered 2 X Falkens for fitting Thursday   ...  £265  all up ..................  prices of tyres seems to be going thru' the roof these days

Occasioned by my driving out in her yesterday, parking up ok and then later in the afternoon seeing a flat on the front .  RAC to change the wheel over for the spare .....  an old Falken btw

Puncture caused by a shaft of glass embedded therein ........... too close to the edge to repair but needing to change for the next MOT whatever so it's down to a new pair on the front ok

Yet another drain on the bank balance 🤑  ........  but she's worth it eh !

Hi Malc, I was looking at same sized Michelins cos mine are going to need doing soon, they were £173 each. Put the idea on hold for a while cos I've got to have a new starter fitted before I need tyres:o)

New Falkens fitted ok and took her on an uneventful round trip to Newmarket way at the weekend .. @ 205 miles  and not a wobble or nowt ! 😇
