Hood reflects too much sun

Recommended Posts

Not sure how it is called, but the part of the hood that creates aerodynamic shadow for wipers has a bend. When the sun is low and you are driving towards it, that bend reflects too much sun. I am thinking, would there be some non reflective adhesive film that can be cut to shape to cover that part?

I'm sure there must be but it would look rather strange and probably attract dirt. Perhaps try adjusting the height of the seat to change the angle your eyes are to the panel? This must surely be a fairly rare occasion when the sun is at the critical angle? I think I would just live with it, wear sunglasses?

Your car is too clean, dont wash the hood for 2 monthes and the problem will be sloved.

Jokes aside, try adjusting your seat a bit, it might help

Polaroid sunglasses should cut out that kind of  reflected glare.
