Hi all, just acquired a 2011 lexus 450h SE L with super low mileage , FSH and one owner.

I'm a tad confused. Mine has a panoramic roof which should signify the Advance version. I've checked everywhere possible to get a spec list. Any help appriciated. I'm confused because my wife has the IS250 SE L that's has memory seats driver and passenger, heated and cooled front seats and a Mark Levinson sound system. Lexus equipment book says the ML sound/navi system is standard on SE L models. My lexus only has driver memory seats, standard sound system and onkh heated sests

Thanks peeps

Hi Bill and welcome to the club and RX ownership, try this link to Colin Barber's excellent pdf

You are not that far from me (Thornbury, Bristol) I see, nice to have a local (ish) member.

Share some pictures of your RX when you have the time👍

Thanks for the link, this is where I am confused. It's a June 2011 reg, it has 18inch wheels not 19, panoramic roof not moon roof, lexus sound and nav system, Not Mark Levinson only drivers side memory function, no AFS and no credit card type key to name but a few.

The previous owner took what was on the ship on its way over from Japan, it was just after the Fucishima disaster and to order what he wanted would have been 6 to 9 months.

So you see my dilemma, nothing on any of the spec or trim levels match with the car I've got V5 says SE L

Possible for a previous owner to get smaller wheels to improve comfort and to lose the key card but some of the other spec doesn't add up. However, it wouldn't be the first time a weird spec vehicle has turned up. They typically end up as a Toyota employee or dealer courtesy car rather than a customer order because it doesn't meet spec.

I'd double check the VIN plate, VIN stamping in the windscreen and by the drivers seat all match and look untouched - just to rule out it hasn't taken the identity of another vehicle, or it is a Japanese import.

Certainly a strange spec for a SE-L and I can now see why you're puzzled (as am I).

I was thinking along the same lines of Colin in regard to it being an import or perish the thought, some sort of clone. It might be worth contacting Lexus head office UK with your vehicle details including the Vin and asking if they can help you, I have found them to be helpful in the past.

Out of interest does it have air suspension?

Thanks guys, all VIN numbers match, the previous owner, a doctor, told me the brief history, wanted one, 6 to 12 month wait, Fucashima nuclear disaster one on the ship coming from Japan so took that one. No to the air suspension. Like you say could have been destined a dealer car with some toys.

Thank, I will do. I've had a BMW X3 for the last 6 years, drive my wife's IS250 SE L and immediately wanted to ditch the beemer. So I've come over from the dark side 😂😂
