Lexus Carlisle - Parks

Does anyone have any experience of this dealership? I am having an issue with them over a 2018 CT200h purchased from them earlier in the year. Car is fine but is missing a Hybrid Health Check from last service. They agreed that I could have it done in Glasgow at their cost but since contacting my local Lexus dealership to arrange, I have heard nothing from Carlisle, despite numerous emails and phone calls.

I have personally bought 2 cars from them, the most recent being July 2023.

The sales staff were very nice but the workshop needs to improve in my opinion.

Issues I had were 1) tyre pressures all completely different (checked a few days after buying) 2) Had to change key fob Battery a month after buying 3) engine oil overfilled 4) road wheels seized onto hubs.

I recently changed the engine oil and filter. The oil filter was seized solid. I had to remove the O/S road wheel and plastic wheel arch trim to get better access. Had to use the oil filter cup removal tool with a breaker bar.

Had two ocassions to use Lexus Carlisle and would not go anywhere near them again.

I forgot about the key-fob! Both batteries reported low power so I contacted them as these should have been changed at service before collection. They apologised and sent me two incorrect batteries and to add insult to injury, underpaid the postage. Not impressed one bit with aftersales.

I recently bought a UX300e from Parks Lexus Carlisle and had a good purchasing experience, but won't be using them for any servicing or repairs as they aren't local to me.

I'd been hanging my nose over electric UXes for a long while, and wanted to take advantage of the recent PCP offer. My local dealership is Dundee, but they're a new dealership and didn't have much used stock, so searching nationally, Carlisle had a few cars in my budget with reasonable miles so I contacted them and salesman Derek Fulton got back to me, we exchanged emails and a call, then I happened upon a UX listed online at the parks Toyota branch in Aberdeen,I asked Derek if they could source that car and sell it through the Lexus dealership and he arranged it all and 12 days later the car was delivered right to me by a very nice driver.

The process was so easy it was unbelievable, at one stage I rang Derek to double check the car was actually mine because I was expecting to hear it'd been sold from under me, but no, there were no hiccups at all.

Car is great, not perfect but it's 3 years old and done 25k so I didn't expect it to be, but it's in line with what you'd expect from a main dealership of an upmarket brand. One issue with the app and GPS not communicating so I can't see the car location or get any journey tracking but I've already been to see Dundee to get that sorted.

Overall a very professional and smooth experience dealing with Lexus Carlisle, so I can't vouch for aftersales but would have zero issues buying another car from them when the time comes.
