Just an update after using the CC2 for about a week now i find the tyres quite good it has excellent grip and low noise ..i am just waiting for pair of rear shocks ordered and an alignment done when fixed replaced

I would go with 245/40 if original is 255/35. This is because speedo is already -5%, so going to 245/35 would make it -6%, and 245/40 -2.2% (closer to actual speed). But I guess depends on the price 0.8% or 2.2% difference is quite minor, but certain sizes are expensive. 

I would not rule out the effect on the ABS cos original is close to 1:1 front rear. I went for 4x 19" 255/35 Michelin PA4 (I also had PA4 on the original Lexus wheels in the std sizes)   but my climate is -5 - +17c.. and mostly dry. Cons is they are rated at 72db if I remember and I can hear that.. sniff. But these are the best cold, dry, damp (not wet) tires I have ever used.

I have Turanza 6. Production year is 2023. and it already has cracks. 

In summary they're just fine so far. But not perfect.

Lexus just replaced my fronts which were Bridgestone  Turanza ER33 with Bridgestone Turanza T06 although I requested the ER33. I commented on this and now they have replaced the T06 with the ER33 I prefer.

Why? The ER33 is 88Y but the new T06, albeit new spec tyres, are 92Y Extra Load suitable for heavy electric cars. This extra load tyre I found to send slight tremors through the steering wheel on some B roads and country roads.

Checked with Bridgestone tech who said compatibility ok.

The T06 are slightly superior in the wet but I prefered  ER33 which is more comfortable overall. No need for extra load rating spec.

Just did the opposite year ago. I had er33 and changed them to Turanza 6. In my experience benefit of ER33 were long lasting and good rim protector. fuel economy, comfort, noise, grip is for Turanza 6. But my driving is in city and highways.
