AC control panel issues following Android screen install.

Hi. Apologies if there is already a thread for this. I've seen lots of them on the web with the same problem but with no documented solution.

Long story short, I fitted a replacement 10.25" android screen as per the instructions. The screen worked fine but my Aircon/Airbag/Hazards control panel stopped working. The Airbag warning light is on, the hazards don't work and the Aircon is blowing out air but I can't change any settings. None of the lights are on on the control panel.

I checked the connections etc and eventually put my old screen back in but still have the same problem.

Seems to be a common problem after Android install across many cars. Any proven solutions please? Many thanks.

Sounds like the head unit is blown to be honest. I'd put the old screen back in and see if it works again first

Well... he already side it did not work.

Have you disconnected the Battery when doing all that? Could it be some fuse that blown when you were fitting the android screen, shorted something?

Yes already put the old one back in thanks. Hopefully it is a fuse but I was hoping someone else had the same issue and resolved it. Will take it to a diagnostic garage and see what they say.
